Sports Betting Rules

Scope and Definitions

These Smvip Sports Betting Rules govern all bets placed on Smvip. They apply to every market, event and bet type offered, and govern settlement, voiding, and related procedures. By placing a bet you acknowledge eligibility, compliance with applicable law, and acceptance of these terms.

• Event: a scheduled sporting contest or fixture offered for betting by Smvip.
• Market: a specific betting proposition within an event.
• Selection: a single outcome within a market that a customer may bet on.
• Stake: the amount wagered on a bet.
• Payout: the amount returned to the customer on a winning bet, calculated from the stake and the stated odds.
• Void Bet: a bet that Smvip treats as not placed and refunds the stake if no valid outcome is established.
• Official Result: the result published by the relevant governing body, or the weigh-in/official measurement if applicable.
• Weighed In: result determined after any official post-race adjustments, when relevant to settlement.
• Live Betting: bets executed on events while they are in progress under these rules.

Bet Types

1. Single bets
   • A single bet concerns one selection in one market. The payout is stake multiplied by the odds for that selection if the event is completed and the selection wins.
   • If the event, market or selection is voided or not completed, the stake is refunded and the bet is void.
2. Accumulator and Combination bets
   • An accumulator combines two or more selections in a single wager. All selections must win for the bet to be successful.
   • The overall odds are the product of the individual selection odds. If any selection loses, the accumulator loses and the stake is forfeited.
3. System bets
   • A system bet contains multiple smaller bets derived from the same selections. Each sub-bet is settled separately according to its outcome. It is possible to win on some and lose on others within the same system bet.
   • The payout depends on the number of correct selections within the system and the then-current odds of the included bets.
4. Banker bets
   • A banker bet designates one or more selections as bankable legs. The banker must win for the whole system bet to succeed. If the banker leg loses, the entire system bet may be void or reduced as defined by the system rules.
5. Jackpot bets
   • A Jackpot bet is placed on a fixed game or selection with a predetermined prize structure. Settlement follows the fixed terms announced at the time of acceptance, subject to applicable maximum payout limits.

Settlement, Verification and Void Procedures

Smvip settles bets based on verified outcomes. The following rules apply unless stated otherwise in market-specific terms.

• Official results: If the outcome cannot be verified officially, Smvip will void the market and refund the stake. Markets offered after the outcome has been officially verified may also be void.
• Incorrectly displayed or calculated prices: Markets with clearly incorrect prices will be voided and settled at the correct price, or refunded as applicable.
• Unfinished or abandoned events: If a match or event does not complete as scheduled, undecided markets are void unless a final outcome is otherwise determined by Smvip under its rules.
• Venue changes and scheduling: Bets placed before a venue change remain valid if home/away designation remains the same; otherwise, bets may be voided at Smvip’s discretion. If a kickoff time is revised, bets placed by the revised kickoff time will stand.
• In the absence of an official source: When official data is unavailable or conflicting, Smvip settlements are based on Smvip’s own statistics and official data where available.
• Dead heats: In events with a dead heat, winnings are proportionally allocated. If a market’s terms include a draw or tie, standard dead heat rules apply as described in the market terms.

European Handicap and Other Handicap Markets

European handicap bets are three-way wagers with an integer handicap value placed on one side. The draw outcome is a separate result, not a normal draw in the match. Examples are used for illustration only:

• Team A (-2): Wins by three goals or more yields a win
• Draw (-2): Team A wins by exactly two goals yields a win for this option
• Team B (-2): Backing the outsider, the bet wins if Team B wins, draws, or loses by one goal

As with European handicap bets, the sportsbook applies the handicap value to the home team in line with the market terms. Asian handicap bets are not included in this clause unless specified in market terms.

Soccer Market Specific Rules

• General markets: All end-of-regular-time markets are settled based on the score at the end of the regular 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shootouts do not count unless the market states otherwise. VAR decisions may affect the official result and are final once announced.
• Halftime and timing adjustments: If a match is played with a different schedule (for example 90, 3 x 30, or 2 x 40 minute halves), bets are settled in accordance with the applicable finished time for the market. Halftime bets are settled on the designated halftime result and are typically void if the market requires full-time result.
• Match status and postponements: If a match is postponed or suspended and not resumed within 48 hours of the original kickoff, bets are void unless markets have been unconditionally determined.
• Cards: Yellow cards count as 1, red or yellow-red as 2. A second yellow leading to a red is not counted separately for betting purposes. Settlement uses the official card record for the regular 90 minutes. Cards shown after the match are excluded. Non-playing personnel’ cards are excluded from counting.
• First goalscorer and anytime goalscorer: Own goals are not considered for these markets. All players who feature during the match are runners for settlement. Bets on listed players remain valid if an unlisted goal is scored during the match. If the match ends within 48 hours of kickoff, unsettled bets on players who did score may be settled accordingly; otherwise, bets are voided as per the market terms.
• Corners: Corners awarded but not taken do not count toward corner markets.

Horse Racing Rules

• General settlement: Bets on racing are settled on the double result basis unless the market terms specify otherwise. Ante post bets are settled at the price and place terms applicable at acceptance.
• Official results: All bets are settled according to the race results published by the official body, including weigh-in adjustments where applicable. If a result is amended after the official result is announced, the amendment will be ignored for settlement unless stated otherwise in the market terms.
• Double Result concession: If a horse finishes first past the post but is subsequently promoted or disqualified after a stewards inquiry, Smvip may adjust settlement to reflect the concession in favour of the customer where permitted by market terms.

Player Markets

• Overtime: All player proposition markets include any overtime that is part of the event for settlement purposes. Penalty shootouts are not included unless the market expressly states otherwise.
• Participation: If a selected player does not participate in the event, bets on that player are void.
• Venue changes: Bets remain valid if the venue changes and the player remains in the same playing role; otherwise the bets may be voided.
• Abandonment and resumption: If a match starts and is abandoned or suspended, and not resumed within 48 hours, undecided bets on players are voided. Bets placed before a venue change are void only if the change invalidates the market terms.

Settlement of Other Market Types

• Live and in-play markets: Settled on the official result available at the time of finalization of the market, subject to the rules above.
• Incorrect event details: If the event name or category is displayed incorrectly, Smvip may void the related bets.

Disputes and Finality

All disputes regarding settlement shall be resolved by Smvip in good faith. Smvip may request supplementary evidence or data to support any settlement decision. The decisions of Smvip in relation to settlement, voids, and general market operation are binding on customers and may be amended only as allowed by applicable law and these terms.
